Ted Cruz Visits Multiple Cities In The Rio Grande Valley

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas - U.S. Senator Ted Cruz made four stops in the Rio Grande Valley.

He held a media availability before touring a frozen food company and meeting with executives and employees. The senator voiced his priorities for the state.

"Jobs and economic growth is what Texans care about. We want more jobs, we want more opportunities, we want higher wages, we want a better future for our kids, for our grandkids. The keys to jobs are getting government of the backs of small businesses and farmers and ranchers and job creators."

Cruz, who is running for re-election, believes there are four big priorities for the United States Congress.
He cited repealing obamacare as the number one priority. Adding that it is to blame for a lack of jobs in the country.
