School District Officially Accepts Superintendent's Resignation

SAN BENITO, Texas - The San Benito CISD Superintendent is officially heading out the door.
The school board accepted Dr. Adrian Vega's letter of resignation at their meeting on April 18.
A week earlier, Vega announced he'd be leaving the district after less than two years on the job.
Vega said he is looking for work outside of public education.
His last day on the job is slated for Friday, June 9.
