Remnants of 'Harvey' Could Redevelope In Bay Of Campeche

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas - South Padre Island is asking residents to prepare property for storm conditions.

The remnants of 'Harvey' continue to produce disorganized showers and thunderstorms in the northwestern Caribbean Sea. This disturbance is forecast to move into the Bay of Campeche early Wednesday where conditions are expected to be favorable for redevelopment.

Impacts to the Rio Grande Valley are uncertain but the National Weather Service will continue to track this disturbance.
