Hurricane Harvey As Viewed From Space

International Space Station - Astronauts on the International Space Station had a unique perspective on Hurricane Harvey.

This is how the hurricane looked from space.

Astronaut Jack Fischer photographed ‘Harvey’ from the Cupola Module aboard the International Space Station as it intensified on its way toward the Texas coast.

The powerful category four storm made landfall late Friday night, August 25.

The Expedition 52 crew on the station tracked the storm for two days and captured photographs and videos from their vantage point in orbit.
