Feit Trial Quickly Wrapping Up, Jury To Hear Closing Arguments

EDINBURG, Texas - Attorneys are inching closer to the end in the murder case against former Catholic Priest John Feit.

Despite the defense's request for mistrial, prosecutors called up the last of its witnesses, including a forensic pathologist.

This pathologist told jurors she believes Irene Garza died by asphyxiation. Both the state and the defense rested after the defendant opted not to testify in his defense.

Tomorrow morning jurors will hear closing arguments before beginning deliberations. If found guilty John Feit faces up to 99 years in prison for murder.
