Main Library Branch, located on 2600 Central Blvd and at the corner of Les Mauldin Road and Emery Watts Street near the airport on Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

THIS LOCATION WILL CEASE SANDBAG DISTRIBUTION AT 5 P.M. TODAY

The Hidalgo County Precinct 1 office will be handing out sandbags. The distribution is at Sunrise Hill Park on Mile 11N and Mile 1 1/2 W in Mercedes on Aug 24th from 1 pm to 7 pm. You can call 956-968-8733. You will need to fill the bags yourself. Shovels, sand, and bags will be provided. There will be a six to eight bag limit per family.

Hidalgo County Precinct 2
THIS LOCATION CEASED SANDBAG DISTRIBUTION THIS MORNING
The Hidalgo County Precinct 2 office will be handing out sandbags beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday. Requirements of proof of residency, 5 bags per family,once their bags run out residents can fill thier own bags. P2 Alamo Community Resource Center, located at 1429 S. Tower Road, Alamo, P2 San Juan Community Resource Center, located at 509 E. Earling Road, San Juan, and P2 Field Operations Facility, located at 4011 S. Veterans Blvd, San Juan.

Hidalgo County Precinct 3
(Mission, Palmhurst, Alton, Palmview, Penitas, La Joya, and Sullivan City)
THIS LOCATION WILL CEASE SANDBAG DISTRIBUTION AT 5 P.M. TODAY
The Hidalgo County Precinct 1 office will be handing out sandbags. Residents can pickup sandbags on the corner of La Homa and 7 Mile Line in Mission, across from a Family Dollar.

Hidalgo County Precinct 4
(North McAllen, Edinburg, San Carlos and Faysville)
THIS LOCATION WILL CEASE SANDBAG DISTRIBUTION AT 5 P.M. TODAY
The Hidalgo County Precinct 1 office will be handing out sandbags. Residents can pickup sandbags at the Hidalgo County Pct 4 Annex Building, located on 1124 N. M Road, on Thursday from 7 a.m  to 7 p.m.

Alamo
The City of Alamo will be handing out sandbags. Residents must go by City Hall, located on 420 North Tower Road, to pick up a voucher before heading to a site for pick-up or filling up your own bags. Pick-up for Diabled/Ages 55 and over at Alamo Public Works Dept. located on 803 South Tower Road. Fill you own bag at the Alamo Sports Complex located on 501 North 13th Street or at the corner of 6th Street and Citrus Road.

Donna

Edinburg
The City of Edinburg is dstributing sandbags to residents and businesses from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations. Service Center located at 1201 N. Doolittle Road. Freddy Gonzalez Park located at 1401 S. 18th Avenue. HIDCO Elections Administration Annex Building 317 N. Closner Blvd.
LIMIT THREE BAGS FOR RESIDENTS AND FIVE FOR BUSINESSES, PROOF OF RESIDENCE REQUIRED.

Mercedes

Mission
The City of Mission is dstributing sandbags to residents and businesses from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 8 a.m. Residents must provide proof of residency and the bag limit is 6 for each household and 10 for each business.

Palmview
The City of Palmview is dstributing sandbags to residents on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the city park, located near 406 W. Veterans Blvd. Residents MUST PRESENT the following information, a valid photo ID, bring a shovel for faster service, residents will receive 4 bags, businesses 6 bags.

Pharr
The City of Pharr is dstributing sandbags to residents at these locations. Boggus Ford Events Center, Pepe Salinas Civic Center, and Cesar Chavez Middle School from noon Thursday until 8 p.m. It will be self-service distribution, a limit of 6 bags for residents and 12  for commerical businesses. Must show proof of residency and citizens can stay up to date with storm information by tuning in to 1680 AM radio.

San Juan

Weslaco
The City of Weslaco is dstributing sandbags to residents on Thurday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residents are required to show proof of residency. There will be a maximum of 6 sandbags per residence. For more information call City Hall at 956-968-3181 or Emergency Management Office at 956-447-3415.
