Brownsville
All persons must show proof of Brownsville residency. Bags will be provided. You must take your own shovel. The location below will be open weather permitting.
• City of Brownsville Public Works Department (6035 Coffeeport Road) - Filled bags 8 per resident if available; Self-filled bags 20 per resident

The locations below are self-fill only:

Besteiro Middle School(6280 Southmost Rd.) - 20 bags per resident
Vela Middle School (4905 Paredes Line Rd.) - 20 bags per resident

Harlingen
Harlingen residents can get sandbags at two locations:
• Public Works Department (404 South 54th Street).
• Victor Park (off Expressway 83 near M Street).
Bring your driver's license and a water bill for proof of residency. Limit six per household and 12 per business.

Port Isabel
Sandbags are available at the Port Isabel Public Works Department (110 W. Hickman St.).
Five bags per household or business. First come, first served basis only.

Primera
Sandbags will be distributed at 16466 W. Railroad (the city's maintenance shop next to the elevated tower off of Stuart Place Road). Limit six bags per household. Able-bodied persons are expected to fill their own bags. Copy of water bill required.

Rancho Viejo
The town of Rancho Viejo will be issuing sandbags at the town hall. Seven sandbags per household. Please bring proof of residency and a shovel.

San Benito
Proof of residency will be required for sandbag recipients. Limit of five bags per person. Limited number of prepared bags available for the elderly and disabled. All others must fill their own sandbags.

• Newman Building (at the South Texas Youth Stock Show Grounds on FM 510)
Residents and business owners desiring more than five complementary bags may bring their additional bags to either of the sandbag distribution points.

Hidalgo County Precinct 1
The Hidalgo County Precinct 1 office will be handing out sandbags. The distribution is at Sunrise Hill Park on Mile 11 in Weslaco. You will need to fill the bags yourself. Shovels, sand, and bags will be provided. There will be a six to eight bag limit per family.

Hidalgo County Precinct 2
County resident may obtain six to seven sandbags per household with proof of address, which can be a water bill or a driver's license. Residents need to come prepared to help shovel sand. Assistance will be available those who are unable to complete the physical task.

Hidalgo County Precinct 3

Hidalgo County Precinct 4
County resident may obtain six to seven sandbags per household with proof of address, which can be a water bill or a driver's license. Residents need to come prepared to help shovel sand. Assistance will be available those who are unable to complete the physical task.

Alamo
Please go by city hall to pick up a voucher. You will need proof of residency. The sandbag distribution will be at the Service Center on 803 South Tower Road. Residence must fill bags themselves.

Donna
The city of Donna will be distributing bags at City Shop (1304 Silver Ave.) Six sandbags per residence. Ten sandbags per business. Water bill (proof of residence) must be provided to get sandbags.

Edinburg
The city of Edinburg is making sandbags at two locations:
• Edinburg Service Center (1201 N. Doolittle Road)
• Northeast Part of Courthouse square (In conjunction with the County of Hidalgo)

Six bags per person. Public will have to fill them. There will be assistance for the elderly. They may fill up to four more bags if they bring their own bags. EDINBURG RESIDENTS ONLY.

McAllen
Sandbags available at Old Civic Center (10th Street & Expressway 83) and the old Wal-Mart building (23rd Street & Nolana). Bring proof of residency. Six bags per household.

Mercedes
The city of Mercedes will be issuing sandbags to Mercedes residents Tuesday at the Mercedes Public Works building located at 105 N. Ohio Ave. Must show proof of residency. Residents will fill bags themselves. For information concerning this issue contact city hall at 565-3114 ext. 120 or public works at 565-6147.

Mission
The city will be distributing sandbags at 2 locations: Bannworth Park on Shary Road and Lions Park on Kika De La Garza Loop. Residents will fill bags themselves. Pre-filled bags will be at the Old Central Fire Station (across Mission Post Office), 500 E. Tom Landry. 6 bags per residence. 10 for commercial. Must show proof of residency, preferably water or light bill with ID.

Palmview
The city will be distributing sandbags at Palmview City Hall. Must provide utility bill and driver's license. Limit six sandbags per household.

Pharr
Northside: A Convention Center, 3000 N. Cage Blvd.

Central B, PSJA Bear Stadium, 700 Blk. of E. Kelly St. (Kelly/Gumwood)

Central C, Pepe Salinas Civic Center, 1011 W. Kelly St.

San Juan
The city of San Juan will be distributing sandbags at the city’s Recycling Center located at 1st Street and Oblate. Limit of four bags per resident and six per business. Must have proof of residence (utility bill or picture ID).

Weslaco
Residents can pick up sandbags at the city park off of Airport Drive. Proof of residency required. Sandbags also available at Harlon Block Sports Complex on 18th Street. Proof of residency required.

Willacy County

Starr County: Rio Grande City
The Public Works Department has made sand and bags available to residents at the water tower site on Eisenhower Street between San Antonio and Fairgrounds Road. Residents must come prepare to fill their own bags and must also bring a utility bill and picture ID to indicate residency.
